We Who Live in the Quiet Places

"We who live in the quiet places have the opportunity to become acquainted with ourselves, to think our own thoughts, and live our own lives in a way that is not possible for those who are keeping up with the crowd, where there is always something "on for tonight," and who have become so accustomed to crowds that they are dependent upon them for comfort."
Laura Ingalls Wilder

  1. OH yes. So true. It took me some years to find this out for myself.

  2. That is one beautiful looking scenery :)

    1. In my own neighborhood, it is a sin to have so many dandelions! Ha! Ha! But I agree, this is a really pretty picture. I like old trucks. This one reminds me of my grandfather's old truck, but his was blue.
